How to Define Love

How to Define Love
By Jane Ye

I dare to say that love is the most treasured feeling on this planet. It is something chased by everyone. Without love, life seems to be dull and gloomy. After all, what is love and how to define it?

It is a question asked by people for ages. But till now, it is unanswered. Different people hold different opinions towards love. Someone says love is the necessity in life. Another one says love does not mean everything. Then, who gave the correct answer? It depends on the specific person.

In my opinion, love is a feeling which can not be touched but can be strongly felt. It is the attraction of two people. When you are with your loved person, everything seems to be fantastic. You may temporarily forget the pain, vexation or burden on your shoulder. With love, you have enough courage to face any difficulty in life. It is really a happy thing to come across someone who truly loves you. You will never feel alone because he or she will always stand by you.

However, love is blind. When you love a person, you will love his or her everything, including the merits or shortcomings. That is the reason why two incompatible people can be together and finally get married. Love is blind when a mother is fighting with the whole world only to prove her guilty child innocent. That is to say, love can bring negative effects.

To sum up, love is the subtle feeling between two persons. If you can handle such relationship in a positive way, love urges you go progressing. Otherwise, love might be a disaster for someone. To make it a little more serious, love can totally destroy a person. Therefore, try to make it develop towards the positive way.
